J'Nathan Bullock is quite simply one of the best all-around players in the Horizon League, a distinction that he has earned through hard work, determination and dedication. Only the third Viking to lead the team in scoring in three straight seasons, he uses his strength and athleticism to create match-up problems for opponents at both ends of the court. A first team all-league choice last season and a preseason first team choice this year as well, his improved shooting range allows him to score away from the basket and his quickness lets him be an effective scorer and rebounder inside. Look for him to split his time between the two forward spots again this season.

Record Book
• Ranks 12th in school history in scoring (1,238). Is also fifth in free throws attempted (492) and sixth in free throws made (352).
• Is one of 10 players in school history to score 1,000 points and grab 500 rebounds (555).
• Has started 69 consecutive games, the fifth-longest streak in school history (86, Ken McFadden, 1986-88).
• Is one of 11 players to play 1,000 minutes in a season.

2007-08 Season
• First team All-Horizon League selection after ranking sixth in the league with a 14.8 scoring average.
• Named honorable mention Mid-Major All-American by CollegeHoops.net.
• Finished ninth in the Horizon League shooting .774 from the free throw line (147-190), including a school-record tying 13-for-13 effort against USF (11/9/07).
• Continued to show considerable improvement at the line, shooting .748 as a sophomore (122-163) after going 83-139 (.597) as a freshman.
• Also ranked fifth in the league in offensive rebounding (2.15), and seventh in rebounding (6.6).
• Averaged 18.8 points and 7.8 rebounds over the last 10 games, shooting .488 (63-129) from the field.
• Horizon League All-Tournament team choice after averaging 20.0 points and 8.5 rebounds in two tourney games.
• Led CSU with 21 points and nine rebounds in Horizon League championship game vs. Butler. (3/11/08)
• Scored 19 points with eight rebounds vs. Valparaiso in Horizon League semi-finals (3/8/08).
• Totaled 17 points and 12 boards at Youngstown State (3/1/08), his fifth double-double of the year.
• Poured in a CSU Wolstein Center record 39 points vs. Green Bay (2/11/08), the fifth-highest total in CSU history. He was 13-for-14 from the field (.928 FG pct. was fourth-best in CSU history).
• Performance vs. Green Bay was the sixth-highest field goal performance by a Division I player in 2007-08 (13-14, .928). He previously was a perfect 13-for-13 from the line vs. USF (tied for first in the nation) with the 13 makes being the 14th best among perfect free throw shooters.
• Scored 21 points in the win over Detroit (2/9/08), going 10-for-11 from the line.
• Tallied 11 points vs. Valparaiso (1/19/08) to become 17th player in school history to score 1,000 career points.
• Led CSU with 16 points vs. Ohio State (12/18/07), going six-for-seven from the line with a pair of three-pointers.
• Scored 25 points, including a season-best three treys, in win over Florida Atlantic (11/18/07).
• Opened the season with 26 points against USF (11/9/07), adding 10 rebounds and a career-high five steals.
• Named to the Glenn Wilkes Classic All-Tournament team after averaging 21.3 points and 7.8 rebounds in four games.

CSU Career
• Begins senior campaign with 13 career 20-point games and 12 double-doubles.
• Started every game at small forward in 2006-07, leading the team with a 13.5 scoring average.
• Ranked fifth in the Horizon League in rebounding (6.5), 11th in free throw percentage (.748), 13th in scoring and blocks (0.43) and 14th in steals (1.0) as a sophomore.
• Improved his passing skills each year, handing out 38 assists as a junior, 36 as a sophomore and just nine in 2005-06.
• Scored 17 points with a career-high 14 rebounds and 5 assists vs. West Virginia Tech (12/30/06).
• Tallied 23 points at Central Michigan (12/17/06), including 21 in the second half and overtime.
• Totaled 21 points at Ohio State (12/9/06), making three treys.
• Named to all-tournament team at the A
merica's Youth Classic (11/17-19/06), averaging 17.7 points in CSU's three games. • Had 24 points with 7 rebounds vs. Buffalo (11/17/06).
• Became only the third player in the 76-year history of the program to lead the team in scoring as both a freshman and sophomore, joining Franklin Edwards (1977-81) and Weldon Kytle (1961-65) in accomplishing the feat.
• Started all but six games in 2005-06, becoming only the fifth freshman to lead the team in scoring (11.3).
• Scored a career-high 25 points vs. UIC (2/22/06), the most points by a CSU frosh since 1996-97.
• Came off the bench in games at Detroit, Loyola and Butler, averaging 14.7 points and shooting .640 from the field (16-25).
• Scored 21 points at Kent State (12/3/05), setting a Viking freshman record with 20 free throws attempted.

High School
• Fourth team all-state choice by the Detroit Free Press as a senior at Flint Northern High, playing for coach Darnell Hughley.
• Averaged 20.6 points and 13.0 rebounds a game to lead team to an 18-5 record, earning league player of the year honors in the process.
• First team all-city choice in each of his
final three seasons and was an all-region honoree as both a junior and senior. • Three-time team MVP.
• Was nominated for the 2005 McDonalds All-America team.
• Ranked as the 28th-best player in the state of Michigan by Prepspotlight.com.
• Averaged 17.3 points and 10.1 rebounds as a junior, shooting .545 from the field.
• Earned honorable mention all-state honors as a senior in football, playing every skill position on offense along with defensive end and linebacker.
• Rushed 75 times for 865 yards (11.5 ypc) and five touchdowns as a senior.
Also caught 19 passes for 436 yards (22.9 ypc) and completed 11-of-17 passes for 312 yards and a TD.
