Scouting Lawrence Cavello
One of several highly talented newcomers to the program, Cavello will likely redshirt this season as he develops his abilities and adjusts to collegiate wrestling. This well-rounded student-athlete excels in the classroom as well as on the mat, and will push everyone in practice.

Went 43-8 as a senior at Willard High School, finishing fourth at the Division II Ohio State Meet...Compiled 167-30 career record, most wins in school history...won 47 matches as a junior for highest single season total, and finished 3rd at states...also holds school records in most team points and pins (77)...Three-time Northern Ohio League (NOL) Champ, two-time district champion...earned 11 of a possible 12 varsity letters in wrestling, football, and track & field...2 time All-NOL linebacker second team...competed in pole vault on track team, posting career best of 13' in event...3.2 cumulative GPA.
