Won 4 matches while splitting time between the 165 and 174 pound weight classes ...recorded first win of season at Michigan State Open at 165 (11/12)...despite low victory total was competitive in nearly every match he was a part of.

2005-06 - Freshman Season
Finished 6-11 competing in just open competition...won three decisions at the Ashland Open (11/19)...recorded his lone pin in 2:47 at the Buffalo Open (12/30)

High School
Two-time state alternate...twice named to the Cincinnati all star team...team captain and MVP as a senior after leading the team in takedowns...helped team to a 12-2 record, league, sectional and district championship and a fourth place showing at state his senior season.
