After starting 44 games between left and right field, Danielle Young surfaced as a solid defender and improved her offensive abilities. Young will be counted on to start the season at right field.
2007 - Sophomore Season
Saw action in 45 games at right field, including 38 as a starter in right field...hit .297 with eight doubles, 16 runs and 22 RBI...collected 10 multi-hit games...went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI against Detroit (5/5)...drove in three RBI against UIC in the Horizon League Championship (5/12).
2006 - Freshman Season
Appeared in 19 games, mostly as a pinch-runner...scored five runs on the season, including a pair in the Horizon League Championship...earned start in left field against Maine (3/15).
