Whitney Dalessandro may be a walk-on, but she has the ability to help out the Vikings in several ways. She has very sound ball control and passing skills and gives her team great scoring opportunities with solid serve receive play. In addition, her experience as a setter in high school, will allow her to serve as the scout team setter to help the Vikings prepare for their upcoming opponents.

Selected to all-league honorable mention team and all-district squad as a senior.
Back-up setter on 2004 team that went 27-2, won league title and advanced to state final four.
Served as a captain as a senior, leading squad to a 17-9 mark and a district runner-up finish.
Earned four letters in volleyball playing for coach Diane Shanklin.
